Supporting a new generation of quantum technologists

The National Strategy for Quantum Technologies highlights the “strong foundation of capability in the UK” and growth of a “skilled UK workforce in quantum technologies” as key areas of future investment for the success of the programme. Over the last few years and on behalf of the whole national programme, the Quantum Communications Hub has developed a comprehensive plan to support a new, diverse generation of quantum scientists, involving: collaborations with the National STEM Learning Centre through a Quantum Ambassadors scheme; a programme of outreach talks, demonstrations and school visits; and recently resources on careers in quantum – all aiming to put quantum in the curriculum.
