Recruitment Opportunity – Quantum Engineering Technology Labs, University of Bristol

A unique research engineer opportunity is available at the Quantum Engineering Technology Labs (QET Labs) at the University of Bristol. QET Labs are looking to recruit a Research Associate/Senior Research Associate in Hardware Electronic Engineering for Quantum Key Distribution Systems.

This role will conduct R&D in quantum communications networks as part of the Quantum Communications Hub. The successful candidate will be a key part of the Quantum Communications team at Bristol developing electronics hardware for quantum communications technologies working with university researchers and industrial partners. This innovative role will involve developing the electronic driver circuits and programmable logic devices for a range of novel projects including satellite to ground free space QKD systems, measurement device independent QKD systems and entanglement networks.
