Quantum Communications Hub Phase 2.0 Launch Video

Hub Director Prof Tim Spiller gives video address to Launch Phase 2.0 of the Quantum Communications Hub

Hub Director, Professor Tim Spiller has given a video address in lieu of the Launch Event for Phase 2.0 of the Quantum Communications Hub. The Launch Event was due to take place on 18 March 2020, but unfortunately had to be cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In his video, Tim discusses the highlights and achievements of Phase 1.0 (2014 – 2019) of the Quantum Communications Hub and discusses the Hub’s plans for Phase 2.0 (2019 – 2024). He outlines that the main aim of Phase 2.0 of the Quantum Communications Hub is to deliver quantum secure communications at all distance scales and goes on to discuss the eight parallel work streams in more detail, followed by the three cross-cutting themes that run throughout all work streams.
