The Quantum Communications Hub is proud to be partially sponsoring the annual summer school on Quantum Information, Computing and Control (QuICC), which will run from Monday the 13th to Friday the 17th of August 2018 at the University of York, and will focus on research into quantum systems and their applications.
This summer school will be a great opportunity for all participants to expand their knowledge of cutting edge research into Quantum Information, Computing and Control, and meet and share ideas with other researchers in their field. Hub Director, Professor Tim Spiller, and Co-Investigator, Dr Roger Colbeck are amongst the high profile speakers presenting tutorials at the event.
This summer school is particularly aimed at Master’s level and PhD students, because of the opportunity to present and discuss their research, but undergraduates considering going into this field are also welcome to apply. The QuICC summer school is free for UK participants, including accommodation in York, all meals during your visit and social activities. International students are welcome to apply but will have to cover their own expenses. This summer school is funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and organised by students from the Controlled Quantum Dynamics Centre for Doctoral Training at Imperial College London.
